The men's Hoka Clifton 11 GORE-TEX brings all-weather protection to Hoka's popular everyday road-running platform, combining waterproof performance with the soft, lightweight cushioning and smooth ride associated with the Clifton range. Built for runners who don't want wet roads or unpredictable conditions to interrupt their training, it pairs a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane with a secure, supportive upper, compression-moulded EVA cushioning and a hard-wearing Durabrasion rubber outsole for dependable comfort and grip through changing weather.

Weather-Resistant Upper

The upper uses a closed mesh construction with a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane to help prevent rain and moisture from entering the shoe. At the same time, the membrane allows heat and vapour to escape, helping maintain breathability during longer runs.

A Durable Water Repellent coating adds another layer of protection against wet conditions, while strategically placed 3D silicone-print sections reinforce key areas of the upper. Reflective detailing is also included to improve visibility when running in lower-light conditions.

The lightweight upper is designed to sit closely around the foot for additional support without adding unnecessary bulk. A padded tongue enhances comfort, while the quick-lace system makes it easy to adjust and secure the fit.

Cushioned EVA Midsole

Underfoot, the Clifton 11 uses a compression-moulded EVA foam midsole to deliver cushioning and help reduce the impact of repeated contact with harder running surfaces.

Hoka's Smooth MetaRocker geometry is built into the platform to encourage a controlled transition from heel strike through to toe-off. Its curved profile and relatively low heel-to-toe differential help create a smooth, rolling sensation through each stride.

Rearfoot-Focused Active Foot Frame technology adds support around the heel by raising the surrounding midsole walls, helping the foot sit more securely within the shoe. An open-cell sockliner provides an additional layer of cushioning directly beneath the foot.

Durabrasion Rubber Outsole

The outsole uses Hoka's Durabrasion rubber, with additional coverage in areas exposed to greater wear. This helps improve durability while providing reliable grip across everyday running surfaces.

The rubber construction is designed to maintain traction on both dry ground and wet roads, making the Clifton 11 GORE-TEX well suited to regular road running when the weather is less predictable.
